October 1, 2014 -Follow up is imperative in the hiring process.  While the jury may be out on whether a thank you letter can help a candidate through the process, here are five reasons why SLG believes a thank you note post interview is well worth your time:

Sending a polished thank you note provides one more opportunity to make an impression, and it keeps your name fresh in the employer’s mind.  While you aren’t expected to send one after attending an on-campus screening interview, it is appropriate and advised to send one after visiting a firm, regardless of the firm’s size.
